About Us

Miami Products & Chemical Co. (MPC) was established in 1932 at 520 Lonoke Street, Dayton, Ohio where it has been located ever since. The company made many different chemicals over the years and by the early 1970s had evolved into a full-line water treatment chemical company with an emphasis towards swimming pool sanitation. The name SANYGEN was trademarked in 1978. SANYGEN has become synonymous with MPC’s complete line of swimming pool chemicals that are sold to a wide variety of customers.

In 2001, MPC completed construction on a world-class facility in Fairborn, Ohio that is used exclusively to manufacture sodium hypochlorite (chlorine bleach). This new plant has allowed MPC to manufacture high-quality, high-strength bleach daily in unlimited quantities.
